How to use Allisto
We’ll walk with you.
Allisto should never feel like a technical project. Start in your Dashboard, choose a sign, and let Studio and Lexie guide the rest.
The easy path
From signup to a live sign
Each step lives in one obvious place. You can stop and return later without losing your work.
Install the app
Open Allisto on the device you will use as the remote and tap the yellow Install Allisto button. Most Android phones and computers need nothing else. On iPhone or iPad, Allisto opens pictures for Share → Add to Home Screen only when needed.
Build with Lexie
Open Studio from the sign card. Use Home, Menu, Gallery, and Design—or let Lexie build the first look with you.
Your Dashboard
Every sign stays attached to its group.
Signs for the same business or organization appear together. Every card has its own Studio button, live preview, subscription menu, and display link.
Name signs clearly
Use practical titles such as Front Counter, Lobby, Back Bar, or Dinner Menu. Rename them without changing their display links.
Copy the display link
On the correct sign card, press Copy link. Allisto automatically gives every sign a permanent unique code, so two customers can safely use the same friendly sign name. Paste the copied link into the browser on the computer or Allisto Player connected to the TV.

Use Add sign to this group when the new display belongs to the same business. A Dashboard can receive up to two lifetime 14-day Trial signs; additional signs require Monthly or Annual. Each sign still gets its own layout, design, permanent display link, and subscription.
Connect the TV
Choose the setup that fits you.
Allisto can run on a computer you already own, or on an Allisto Player prepared specifically for the job.

- Connect Player to the TV with HDMI.
- Scan the setup QR code with your phone.
- Enter the sign name and Wi-Fi details.
- The correct Allisto display opens automatically.

Use your own computer
Computer connected to a TV
This can work well, especially for testing or when you already have suitable hardware. Results can vary by computer, browser, operating-system updates, power settings, and network stability.
- Connect the computer to the TV with HDMI.
- Open your Dashboard and find the correct sign card.
- Press Copy link and paste the display link into Chrome or Edge.
- Put the browser into full screen.
- Disable sleep, screen savers, and automatic power-off.
- Set the browser to reopen the sign after the computer restarts.
- Use wired internet when practical.
Important: Allisto can help with the software, but cannot guarantee every third-party computer, browser, or operating-system configuration. For the supported plug-and-play experience, use an Allisto Player.
